Soul in the City is a summer mission to the local community, which is based at Immanuel. It is covered by Scripture Union and endorsed by The Net, which is the local youth workers network. The mission started as part of the London-wide Soul in the City mission back in 2004 and has continued ever since. In 2010 we also did a SITC mission weekend in October and would like to expand the mission from being just in the summer. The week is based around mornings of worship, teaching and ministry in the Holy Spirit followed by getting out into the community in the afternoons and evenings. Some of the activities we have done include gardening, holiday clubs, sports programmes, face painting, Treasure Hunting, Family Fun Days and much more. This past year we saw people saved and healed during the afternoon of Treasure Hunting and at the two Family Fun Days we held in the local park!
